Not concern in that respect, no... though I can't say I won't be happier if you avoid leading any charges for a while. [At least for a while, Haurchefant...]

I meant more the speculation about what the anomaly did to you. The question of whether you are - you, for lack of an easier description.

These were my thoughts as well. That "you", in a sense...

[He trails off, rather sure he isn't helping. Not if his original worry for Haurchefant's sake was on point, at least.]

A body is only that, some would say. But... do you still have the scar?

[A long moment's silence. Despite having asked the question openly, Beckett is taken very much aback.]

It's been less than two weeks. It would be a very odd death price, but still... or then, it's possible that it's simply an effect of revival itself. There was the little fiasco with House's healed leg, I seem to recall.

I've seen it. It was real. [Whatever other implications there are, he can't leave Haurchefant to mistrust the evidence of his own senses. It seems a painful thing for such a self-assured, powerful man.]

It's odd that whatever has healed you before - brought you back the first time - has not healed that too, but we know the process is not entirely reliable. There are explanations other than House's rather extravagant theory of anomaly body-snatching.

I have a main one, but it is... sketchy. It covers the bigger picture but not the finer detail. And I'm still at a complete loss as for the pertinent issue - how a dead man and an undead one can be walking around in at least the Norfinbury version of perfect health.

I can't rule this out. [But it unnerves him very deeply. Only a little of that is in his voice, but it takes concerted effort.] So now you know for certain that these others have seen your body dead, seen it buried? That still doesn't cover everything - they could be coming from a similar world in which you were not taken to Norfinbury at your death.
